Raised in the heart of Southern Berkshire County, Timothy Wighton brings deep local roots and global experience to his work as a Massachusetts-licensed real estate professional. With family history grounded in South Egremont, Great Barrington, and Mill River, Timothy’s connection to the Berkshires runs generations deep. He learned to ski at Butternut in 1964—the year it opened—and that early love of outdoor adventure continues today, shared with his black lab, Gracie, on the many trails of South County.

Before entering real estate, Timothy built a distinguished 35-year career in global clinical research, operations, and strategic leadership, working across academia, non-profits, government, and industry. His work took him around the world—from Seattle and San Francisco to Brussels, London, and Philadelphia—where he refined skills in project management, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder alignment. These strengths translate directly into his real estate practice: disciplined execution, clear communication, and the ability to navigate complex decisions with confidence.

Wherever he lived, Timothy pursued his passion for real estate through hands-on home rehabilitation, completing projects in Seattle, San Francisco, the Philadelphia Main Line, Brussels, London, Madison (CT), and now back home in Otis, Massachusetts. Since returning to the Berkshires in 2023, he has dedicated himself to the restoration of his 1766 home, deepening his appreciation for the area’s architectural history and the possibilities within every property.
