It didn’t matter to her that we were just purchasing a little 1 Bedroom home and it felt like she treated this as if it were going to be our forever home!!! It took several houses, offers and banks to push our humble abode across the finish line and Elisha had our backs all the way to the end. Katie Williams has been an extraordinary Real Estate agent for our recent purchase in the Beachwood community of Stockbridge. As we do not live nearby nor have we purchased a home for nearly 30 years, we didn't know what to expect in working with an agent in the area these days. We were incredibly fortunate to have worked with Katie. She is calm, organized, a great communicator, well-informed regarding the area, smart, and willing to go the extra step. Our questions and concerns, no matter how large or small, were answered or explored immediately and we were either called, emailed, or texted with Katies clear and detailed responses. Looking for a home in the Berkshires from Switzerland, Brian was the perfect and helpful agent. For a few months, we communicated by email where he commented on the area and the houses I found online. Then in four days we found the perfect house and made an offer. He connected me to great people for mortgages, insurance, inspection, etc. Then he helped with repairs before I moved in. I couldn't ask for a more professional and attentive agent who navigated the challenges of an international buyer. I feel fortunate for all he has done to make my house purchase in the Berkshires so smooth. David M.

Susan was a tremendous help through the entire process of selling my home. She went above and beyond my expectations every step of the way. I had my reservations about listing my home in the winter but she put my mind at ease and it sold before the spring for the price I was asking for. I never sold a home before and had many questions and concerns along the way. Susan encouraged me to reach out and call or email whenever I felt the need, which I did often. She never made me feel I was imposing on her time. At one point, after the inspection, it was brought to my attention I needed to replace all of my smoke detectors and have CO2 meters installed i...

She is from the Berkshires region and understands the subtle cultural variations in the region and helped us find the ideal house. She is a good listener and a master negotiator. She understands the landscape and knows how to close the deal. In addition, she is friendly and helpful. Literally, she came to our new house before we arrived to leave a light on for us because we were going to arrive after dark. Katie is a very hard-working knowledgeable agent. She has the ability to come up with solutions to the many different aspects of selling a house. Working with Patty Andrew to sell our house gave us a chance to appreciate the full spectrum of Patty's considerable skills. She is conscientious, persistent, and patient. Lenore was super helpful, responsive, a good communicator, and really cared about her client's best interests. Showings were taking place during the global pandemic and she made sure the required protocols were followed. She helped me in the consideration of multiple offers, and always responded to my questions quickly. She was very organized and professional. I highly recommend her! L. J.

Lenore has been my realtor for the purchase of two separate homes, neither of which were easy deals. She was very helpful in navigating through the unknown and her counsel was priceless. I have since referred her to several friends who have purchased homes in Columbia County. A straight-shooter who thinks of her client first, she's a keeper. J. H.

Allison helped us purchase a beautiful second home, and then a year later offered her time and expertise to help us purchase the adjoining property. She knows the Berkshires inside-out and backward. With Allison's guidance, we have established ourselves as members of the Berkshires community. Thank you so much for your knowledge and kindness! Rachel

My wife and I have worked with Elisha on the purchase or sale of three separate properties. Each and every time Elisha was professional, courteous, and responsive to what we needed. We are currently living in our dream home and Elisha's help throughout the buying process made that possible. I would not hesitate to recommend Elisha to my closest family or friends any day of the week! Kevin B.

Melissa was terrific to work with, as the market downshifted from red hot to ice cold just as we listed our house in Old Chatham. She always listened to what we wanted, or worried about, gave sound advice, and stayed on top of far flung buyers, lawyers, inspectors, and other agents. Also, she and her firm know the market for antique houses in depth, and have a supply of various workers who can help with moving out. Pamela P.

Lenore assisted my family and me with a real estate purchase in Columbia County. I'm out of state with a three-hour time difference, so timely and responsive communication was key. She was candid, patient, knowledgeable of the areas of geography, market, and purchase process ins, outs and idiosyncrasies, and prompt. When there were issues she worked on them dutifully and advised with thoughtful and time-appropriate responses. The overall high quality of our experience can't be overstated. Moritz D.

Melissa worked with my husband and me for three and a half years. She released several magazine features highlighting our beautiful home. She is honest, straightforward, and easy to work with. P. & T. H.

We knew that finding the right house would be a challenge because of the COVID restrictions and because we needed a house that could accommodate us and our New York-based daughter's family. We succeeded much more quickly than we thought possible because of Patty Andrew. From the very beginning, we knew we had found the right broker because she listened closely to what we told her we needed and did not waste our time on properties that did not meet our requirements. As a Berkshire County native and lifelong resident she knows all of the communities and has a deep knowledge of the real estate market. In a very short period of time, she located the per...

She was knowledgeable and her experience was evident throughout the entire process. Being a resident of the area she was familiar with all the pros and cons, challenges, and opportunities. We can't thank you enough for all your help this past year to find the perfect home in the Berkshires! We love our house and will cherish living here for years to come. D.H. & L.W.

Patty worked with me for over 6 months, both helping me get my WS house ready to put on the market and taking me to look at many prospective new homes. She exhibited endless patience and professionalism throughout. Her energy and expertise in creating the listing for the WS home and then fielding many calls and visits were terrific. As a relative newcomer to the area, I benefited from her deep knowledge of and roots in the local communities. I could not have asked for a better guide for the buying and selling of two homes. Thank you, Patty and Stone House! Dana B.

Allison is amazing. She knows the market and was very helpful through the whole process. She gave us great advice on how to get our house ready to show and was very responsive to our questions/concerns. Followed up with interested buyers/agents and found us a buyer in a short timeframe. Truly a pleasure to work with. Thanks so much for making it happen, Allison! Didio A.

We can't say enough good things about Patty, who led us with patience, diligence, and care through a long road to Berkshire's homeownership. Her thoughtfulness and expertise were beyond what we could have imagined when we embarked on our journey, and we still marvel at our good luck in working with her. We want to thank you for everything. You are thoughtful, perceptive, kind, caring, and extremely patient. We appreciate all that you have done for us. We couldn’t have done it without you – thanks! G. & H. L.

Susan Calkins recently sold my condo in Lenox. I was very lucky to have been referred to her by my local real estate agent down here in Florida. There are many challenges in selling a property from afar and Susan dealt with all the issues that arose. I had a true representative in Susan and she kept me apprised of all the details during this process, as well as handling all issues and going the extra mile to see the sale through from listing to closing. It was a pleasure working with her and I would recommend her highly. Rona R.

It was a pleasure having Susan Calkins working for us and selling our Condo in Lenox. She knew we lived a distance away and took care of a lot of details we couldn't due to the distant. She got us a fair price and kept us informed of the progress throughout the process. So thank you so much for your great service. Linda R.

Allison was a great listener and effectively acknowledged our requirements and wants in an ideal vacation home. She operated within our guidelines and provided a great number of candidate homes that matched our criteria. She was candid and professional on each of the numerous houses we've visited. She gave the pros/cons of each house/township and provided insights that we lacked, as this was our first vacation home in a rural setting. Furthermore, she gave us the comfort of knowing the houses we wished to see were organized in a time-efficient manner for the limited day's timeframe we had (we are located in NYC); she was very accommodating. Her comm...

We really enjoyed working with Susan. She worked hard for us, scheduling appointments very efficiently, learning and anticipating our needs and desires, and patiently keeping us good company while we explored various areas and house prices/styles. She was direct in guiding us when we needed it while at the same time being respectful of the fact that we were always in the "driver's seat" regarding directing the search. The bottom line is that are very happy with both her services and the house we decided to buy! We recommend her very highly. Rob & Jane S.

Working with Allison was such a pleasure. Completely responsive, very knowledgeable, and very pleasant. She went well beyond expectations to make this transaction smooth and to facilitate local matters as we live 2 hours away from the town where we purchased a second home. She has our highest recommendation! J. & E.

I just got back home from my business trip and I wanted to take a moment to thank you for all your help, efforts & guidance. Especially in a depressed market such as the one we are in, you were the magic pill that guided us to contract. It was a pleasure to do business with you. I am very grateful for everything you did. Thank you again! R.R.

Allison represented us as Executors for an estate sale in NY State. We found her to be very responsive and focused on our needs, and she went out of her way to do whatever was necessary to make the sale happen in a timely manner. We couldn't have been more impressed with her. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone. Seller

Upon our first time meeting with Allison, we were extremely confident that she would be able to find us our vacation home. Allison was always easy to be in contact with, very personable, a good listener, and highly knowledgeable about the area we were looking for in our new home. Not only was Allison successful in finding us our house, but she was able to provide us with other contact information we needed for our home. We always felt extremely comfortable with Allison and felt that we found a new friend. A. & M.

Thank you so much for your advice on buying the land next to may house. Not exactly the biggest deal of the century, but as usual your thoughts make it a very simple process. Thanks again. J.P.

Susan did an amazing job in selling my house. She came in with a keen eye for detail and gave me some excellent staging tips. That and the many open houses (a great idea to get folks in to see the place) led to a successful sale. Susan works hard for the seller and it pays off! Christine

Allison is one of the best realtors we have ever worked with and we were so pleased with our dealings with Allison. She listened to our wants and needs in a house and worked very hard to show us homes that met our expectations. She is very trustworthy, a true professional and we now consider her a friend. P.R.

We would like to share a new find of ours with you. Our find is Susan Calkins. Through the years my wife and I sold and purchased many homes, probably too many. Our most recent was a purchase and a sale with Susan Calkins. Our purchase was at the price we were hoping for and our selling price was more than we had asked for. The perfect storm! Yes, she made it happen! In the past, we felt we had to work harder than our realtor, not this time. We just sat back and Susan just made everything happen through every detail. Always informing us of what was happening good or bad. What a professional and what an expert in her field. Our hope is not to ever se...

Our paths crossed with Nikk's when we were working with another broker to find a second home to buy upstate. We had confined our search to Columbia County because we had friends who lived there and because it was two hours away from NYC, our absolute limit in terms of travel time. But, we were finding nothing that spoke definitively to us. After nearly seven months of consistently looking, we had just about come to the end of our rope and were about to give up our search. Then one day, after an extended session of scouring the MLS listings online, we happened upon a property that Nikki was representing. After seeing the house for the first time, it ...

Melissa has been great as our buyer's agent in this crazy housing market! She met us for endless days of showings, inspected basements and crawl spaces, advised on the pros/cons of different towns and neighborhoods, wrote up countless offers, and handheld us through the disappointing process of losing bids. Not only was she patient with us as our criteria for the perfect house evolved throughout the search, but her knowledge and experience guided us in the right direction. In the end, she helped us choose/win a house that would be perfect for us as a permanent or second home. Highly recommend! R.B.

We couldn't have hoped for a better broker than Nikki. Since this was our first time looking for a second home, we took a long time before we were serious about buying. Nikki was really patient with us, keeping in touch over several years before we were ready. She took the time to listen to what we wanted and then showed us only the properties that fit our needs. Her knowledge of the market is excellent, so she was able to guide us well towards properties that could work for us, and also those that would retain their value. We really trusted her, and we ended up with a perfect home. Buyer

Susan is a great realtor! She sold my husband and me our first home. She is very attentive and knows the business well. She was sending me paperwork to sign while I was on a business trip in Vegas and then running the paperwork back to my husband for him to sign as well and sending me things back and forth so we could get all of the paperwork done in a timely fashion even though I was in another time zone. Definitely first-rate service! Katrina

We tried to sell our home for years with several different agencies. A friend referred us to Elisha and she was very responsive right from the start and shortly thereafter we had a contract in hand! I would recommend Elisha Poirier to anyone looking to buy or sell a house or property! Chad

A quick note to say how grateful we are for having worked with you to buy our first home. From start to finish, we were struck by your generosity, knowledge, and professionalism, allowing us to feel confident and enjoy the process. We hope to be able to recommend you and Stone House in the future. C. & J. C.

We loved working with Nikki. She understood exactly what we were looking for and showed us properties that met our criteria, in the areas where we were focused and within our budget. We closed on a terrific property earlier this year and couldn't be happier. Buyer

We would like to thank you for all you did to help us in finding our first house. We appreciate your organization, patience, and understanding of our needs throughout our search. We always felt comfortable knowing you represented our interests and just want you to know your hard work through the process was appreciated. T & D W.

We hold Nikki in very high regard! We had been working with Nikki for nearly 5 years in search of that elusive spot which we had both imagined & hoped to eventually discover; a place to call our own that would provide us with unreserved beauty & tranquility. Right from the onset of this journey, Nikki displayed genuine patience and her understanding of what we had in mind. She consistently provided us with the same level of service/professionalism along with the personal consideration that we needed, given that the timing of our search was just as important to finding the right piece of property. With Nikki's lead, we eventually did go on to find th...

Dearest Nancy, in my many years of business, I have come across many different persons from all walks of life, from Asia Pacific, Europe, USA. I have yet to meet someone of your professionalism, unwavering steady focus, and ability to dedicate your strengths and efforts to facilitating and guiding all parties to closing the deal. Thank you for sharing your exceptional qualities, wisdom, and intelligence with us. I have much to learn from you. Both Sandra and I hold you in the highest regard and are very grateful and thankful you agreed to work with us to find our 2nd home in Columbia County. Nothing would please us more but to stay in touch with you...

When we approached Elisha, as first-time home buyers, we had many things on our wish list; At least 3 bedrooms, and 2 full bathrooms, a garage, accessory building/studio space, and at least 5 acres of land in a rural setting. And move-in ready with little to no work needed. A tall order for our price point. There wasn't a property she showed us that wasn't a "fit". Always within price range, always something we could relate to, even though it wasn't the perfect fit. In the end, we found out perfect fit. Elisha is a true professional, attentive, patient, and caring, and was there right by our side throughout the process. Absolutely Amazing! Thomas

Thank you as well for your patience, wisdom, and guidance in the search for the perfect home. Your expertise and confidence put us both at ease even in the most nerve-racking moments and as you predicted, we found the right house in the end. We could be happier in our new home and are grateful for all your hard work. C. & J. P.

Melissa was great to work with. Although she was the seller's representative, she was always responsive to us as buyers and she always seemed to go above and beyond for us. We were very happy with our experience with Melissa, and would definitely seek her out if we were to buy/sell again. B.I.

My personal experience with Allison has been honest and sincere. Gold star! Buyer

Elisha was the very best agent. We could not have asked for a more reliable and involved person to sell our home. She kept us up to date on all matters concerning the sale of our home. She was always pleasant and never too busy to return calls and answer our questions. We had other agents in the past, attempting to sell our home, but Elisha was the agent that made it happen. We would recommend her to anyone who wants a hardworking and involved agent who is also kind, considerate, and knows her craft extremely well. Janess & David

I had been trying to sell my property for 2 years with another broker. I gave the listing to Nancy and within one month she had more showings than the other broker had in two years. My property was under contract 2 months after listing with Nancy and sold shortly afterward. She is very meticulous and has total attention to detail, I wish I had known about her earlier. Wendy L.

Elisha was absolutely fantastic to work with! We spoke on the phone a few times and selected houses to visit. She immediately understood my taste and together we were able to winnow down the list, using her knowledge of the local area, and my preferences. She was incredibly flexible with her schedule, finding time to quickly respond to questions and to meet in person. Thanks to her expertise, I bought a house during our second appointment. She went above and beyond on the day of the closing too! Anyone would be lucky to work with Elisha, she's great! Abbie

Scott did a terrific job selling my Mom's property. He was calm, cool, and collected throughout the entire process. He has a great network to get all the details of selling scheduled and underway quickly. Scott's the best of the best. M.K.

We met Elisha while she was conducting an open house in NY. My husband and I immediately fell in love with her. She is personable, knowledgeable, and quick to respond. At the time of meeting her our house was not currently on the market, we explained our situation to her and our goals on buying and selling within the next year or two. Knowing that she was still very diligent in answering any questions we had before we officially contracted her. She gave valuable advice on staging our home and when to list it. She made sure that we were informed every step of the way. While this process posed several challenges for her, she never once displayed frust...
