Co-owners Flavio Lichtenthal and Lisa Landry have created a gathering space where coffee, tea, and a convivial atmosphere that attracts a steady stream of area residents and visitors. Six Depot is a community hub for events that include live music, art exhibits, poetry slams, and book launches.

4. Stanmeyer Gallery and Shaker Dam Coffeehouse, West Stockbridge, MA
The first thing to know about this West Stockbridge coffeehouse is that it’s dedicated to the works of John Stanmeyer, an award-winning photographer whose images have appeared in National Geographic Magazine since 2004. The second thing to know is that you can view and purchase Stanmeyer’s photos when you stop by for breakfast and coffee. Shaker Dam brews coffee sourced from North Carolina-based Counter Culture Coffee.
