Settled in 1758 and incorporated in 1759, this small town prides itself on the unique character of its five villages: Clayton, Hartsville, Mill River, Southfield, and New Marlborough Village. New Marlborough is a rural, residential community where residents can enjoy the scenic beauty of the Berkshires within and surrounding the town's borders. Umpachene Falls Park
 
  • New Marlborough is home to one of the prettiest waterfalls in Massachusetts. Only New Marlborough town residents are permitted to visit Umpachene Falls Park, where a series of spring-fed waterfalls creates a swimming hole at this charming town park.

  • Formed in 1972 to promote cultural events and programs in New Marlborough and nearby communities, New Marlborough Village Association sponsors such as events as Music and More and art exhibits at New Marlborough Village's historic Meeting House.
  • Located on the New Marlborough Village green, the Meeting House is a Greek Revival building now restored to its former glory thanks to the efforts of the volunteer-driven New Marlborough Village Association.
