Located on the east bank of the Hudson River, the city of Hudson is the county seat of Columbia County and a major cultural center in the area. Fueled by antique shops, restaurants, art galleries, and unique entertainment venues, Hudson's tourism industry has revitalized the city. Second homeowners who buy here can live in close proximity to New York City, less than 3 hours away by car. Most of downtown Hudson is part of a historic district filled with buildings that date from the late 1700s to the mid-1930s.

Hudson Farmer’s Market
 
  • Open rain or shine every Saturday from 9 AM to 1 PM mid-April to mid-November. Operates at the corner of Columbia Street and 6th Street in downtown Hudson.
  • Columbia County's largest farmer's market.
